  1. Question Categories

At the beginning of each multiple-choice question in rounds 1 and 2, you will be shown three categories from which the question will be drawn. These will flash one at a time, and you have to hit your zap key to make your choice. If you donΓÇÖt choose quickly, the category that is lit up when the time runs out will be the one youΓÇÖll be answering a question on. Seemore selects the question in round 3. There is a total of 30 categories split between the following subjects: maths, English, science, history and geography, and general knowledge. Below is a list of the category names with a short description of the content:
